The Inventory Controller oversees and performs the duties that ensure the organization and smooth operations of the warehouse. You will manage the flow of inventory through the use of the company's identified inventory system partnered with defined processes. The Inventory Controller will ensure the accurate and timely receipt of shipments, defines and maintains an efficient and organized storage of all materials, keeps products labeled accordingly and always ensures First-In, First-Out (FIFO) is maintained. You will work closely with the Logistics Manager evaluating and implementing standards that put the security, control, and storage of products at the forefront.
Responsibilities include assisting with internal and external audits, inventory counts/reconciliation, RMAs, and return to stock.
Essential Functions:
- Ensures that regular and consistent communication takes place with both internal and external customers; acknowledges and addresses requests received via phone, email or company systems daily.
- Manages own time and resources to achieve identified objectives; is diligent in meeting all communicated/defined deadlines. Monitors and updates tickets/tasks/activities assigned to them in company CRM.
- Performs the daily process of receiving and receipting shipments; keeping shelves stocked and organized and system inventory counts accurate.
- Manages the storing of materials in the warehouse, ensures that all products that move in and out of the warehouse are recorded accurately; ensuring both product storage and labeling align with efficient warehouse operations.
- Processes the staging of goods requested for pickup in the warehouse; can/may assist all field personnel needing and checking out product from the warehouse. Ensures that inventory records and data is kept accurate.
- Processes purchase orders to ensure the receipt of the correct product and quantity as defined; investigates and resolves problems regarding shipment discrepancies.
- Ensures the processing and timely return and credit of RMA's to their appropriate vendor/customer. Works with purchasing to ensure the credit of any charges are made back to the company and its applicable project. Communicates any non-credit/returns to Division/Department manages as needed.
- Evaluates inventory reporting; identifying, researching and making corrections to the inventory database and/or CRM system with necessary information.
- Supports the Fleet Supervisor in coordinating vehicle maintenance, assignments and inspections.
- Can/May be required to back up the Purchasing Agent (when needed).

Position Requirements:
- 3+ years inventory management
- 1+ years purchasing
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Ability to drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day, daily
- Ability to make repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, daily
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily
- Move/Transport items weighing 50+ pounds, occasionally
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations
- Pushing/Pulling using upper extremities, daily
- Stand or Sit for long periods (4+ hours), daily
